Derek Ziemer is a licensed architect (NY, MA, KY, CT, FL) with 10 years of experience in design and construction in both the private and public sectors. In 2018, he founded Derek Ziemer Architecture, PLLC — an architectural practice specializing in the development, design and construction management of various project types and scales. Prior to founding his firm, Derek worked at a large A&E firm as a lead project architect facilitating the design and construction of public transit projects. Derek has utilized his academic and professional backgrounds to create a unique skillset to provide client’s with comprehensive services for real estate development, architectural design and construction management.

Derek received a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University and a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from NYU’s Schack Institute of Real Estate, with a concentration in Sustainable Development.
